3D Printing Materials

MacroVation™ collaborates closely with our neighbor, Virginia Tech, along with other universities and companies, to develop novel materials specifically for 3D printing applications, including innovative conductive coatings.

From recyclable green thermoprintable resins to UV cure acrylates, composites, and nanomaterial hybrids with engineered properties, we are dedicated to addressing unique challenges in 3D printing applications for dielectrics or conductors. Our expertise also extends to providing post-print processing solutions tailored to your manufacturing needs, including conductive coatings and non-conductive surface treatments.


Novel Manufacturing


MacroVation™ excels in low volume prototyping and scaling up to low-volume production. We operate commercial reactors that transition from laboratory scale to full production, with in-house reactors capable of processing from ounces to 25-gallon batches. Our ability to create novel materials and processing flows ensures high yields at low costs for various chemical systems. NanoMaterials, Composites, and Coatings


At MacroVation™, we are continually developing innovative materials, technologies, and application methods to enhance our offerings. Our in-house explosion-proof milling allows us to create our own inorganic/organic nanomaterial systems, and we partner with several external vendors who provide outstanding nano-material solutions. We possess unique technology and intellectual property to produce nano-material dispersions that prevent clumping and amalgamations, ensuring homogeneous mixtures. Furthermore, our range of coatings and coating methods effectively prevent corrosion, even in extreme wear and temperature environments.
